George Williams

Picture
__ Qualifications: BTF Level 1

Sporting Hero: Muhammad Ali

Greatest Sporting Achievement: Completing Ironman Switzerland 2011

Triathlon Discipline: Run

Triathlon Record: Pool sprints through to Ironman - since 2008

Favourite Quotation: The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses − behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

Best Race: 2007 Mansfield Sprint Tri. Bag of nerves before the start but it got me hooked into a wonderful sporting community. London Marathon, no atmosphere like it from start to finish.

Philosophy: ABC - Adaptable (be prepared to change training plans when things don't work out); Basic (Concentrate on the basics first); Consistent (most important of all, train consistently to see the best long term improvements)
